Proverbs in 365 Devotions

Proverbs 4:10 Hear, my son, and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many.

God speaks for our good

We can trust him

Daniel Castor

Have you ever had someone give you advice, maybe even urge you do do something? We live in a day and age where everyone is saying "listen to me, I know what's best for you" people all over the place are trying to convince us that they know what we need and if we will just listen to them we will be better off. But we don't listen to everyone do we? No of course not; there are people out there who are really looking out for there own best interest instead of ours. But who can we trust? Only those who love us and seek our best interest. Just four chapters into the book of proverbs and we can see that Solomon had his sons best interest at heart. He wants him to hear him out and benefit from what he has to say.
