Proverbs 16:12 It is an abomination to kings to do evil, for the throne is established by righteousness.

King Saul - Hand picked by God. He preferred the praise of man and went nuts. The Spirit of God left him.

King David - God calls this man a man after his own heart. Yet, commits adultery, impregnates a woman not his wife, lies and commits murder.

King Solomon - smart man blessed by God. Took on wives and concubines from all over. Set up alters to their gods and even began worshiping them as well.

Herod - Ruler of Roman Empire in Jesus time.
Pilate - had ability to free Free Jesus. Did not.
Trump -
Putan -
Bin laden -

God has spoken the words and given the standards of what it looks like to be a king or the equivalent. All men who have held this position of authority have failed. We are, but, human. Jesus and only Jesus has upheld the standard for being a good king and ruler. He never sinned. Never did anything wrong. He was loyal to his governing authority even to death out of love for his people. No matter who sets in the office, Jesus is King of kings and lord of lords!
