Proverbs 1:8 Hear, my son, your father’s instruction, and forsake not your mother’s teaching,
A Fathers Instruction
This is one of the most repeated and most overlooked instructions in the book of proverbs.
Here we find a father teaching and instructing his boy. Our fathers may have said similar things to us. When we hear these things it should be telling us; pay attention, listen up... hey what I'm saying is of great importance. Solomon first instructs his son to hear, then he informs him not to forget. Take hold of these truths and never let them go! Every chapter has this attitude and emphasis on the importance of the fathers words given to his son! May we also listen to and forget not our Fathers divine word and it's importance !
2nd Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
