A Pharaoh Reminder

Years ago, On the Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City, in a large round building, I was enjoying a sculpture course given by a man named Bob White. On my break, I got a coke and wondered around. I came upon a glass case and inside was a mummified Pharaoh. Wow! I even remember his feet… that his toenails were very long.
I wish I could remember the Pharaoh’s name but to the best of my recollection, he was believed to have been one who was alive close to the time of Joseph.
Was he like the Pharaoh who was good to Joseph and gracious to Israel… or was he one who was later mean to Moses and Gods people when He led them out of bondage?
I remember seeing some dried fish and ears of dried corn that were found with him. A note told how they had planted some of the corn and it grew after all those years laying beside him.
Seeing that Pharaoh overwhelmed me because of the history of the Bible. Kingdoms come and go… Empires rise and fall… But the Bible… Gods Word… never will.
1st Peter 1:24 for “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, 25 but the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you.
Thank You God for your Love Letter!!! … and that Pharaoh reminder you gave to me.
